Just got me a new job in a cinema, which is perfect for me at the moment i guess. I start on thursday.

I've been doing a lot while ive been unemployed. Mostly arty type stuff too. I thing Ive been working on is pretty big, and im pretty excited about it. A lot of my time has been spent planning and learning to colour in different ways. I'll give you a visual clue lol

Ive been working on this cover for ages, but learning to colour at the ame time, so its a bit of a mish mash of styles. I think it'll be cool when its finished. I think the opening might take people by surprise. You'll have to wait and see.

Im gonna release it in issues, the way they do with comics... but im not sure that would work with deviantart... so maybe 2 pages per deviation.

I know you're probably thinking "thats a lot to take on", and it is... but im pretty excited anyway.

Im just glad to not be doing pixelart.... oh wait, im also doing stuff for an rpg lol. So far ive only really been doing tests for walk cycles and stuff. Ive got a pretty cute sprite style i think... sorta plushie-ish, but cuter. The rest of the development team are hard at work with story writing, character design and coding, so im kinda just taking it easy until its my turn to step up to bat.

So yeah, im pretty pumped about that.

Nothing else much happening worth mentioning. I think i might be going on a sort of painting holiday over the summer, somewhere in ireland. I dont know yet, my grandad is looking into that. Im also looking into going back to university to do graphic design. If i do, it'll have to be in belfast. I couldnt be bothered with all of that traveling and being away from home. That studenty part of my life is finished.

Life is pretty good right now. I was walking around with a smile on my face all day yesterday after my interview. I even went out for a drink, and saw some live music... or heard it. Thats a bit wierd for me.
